Mjärdevi and Linköping University
Linköping University (LiU), adjacent to Mjärdevi Science Park, is one of the region’s principal development engines. Known nationally and internationally for its education in science and technology, the university is an attractive source for recruiting new personnel; moreover, many companies on Mjärdevi find the university an invaluable research and development partner.
LiU has approximately 26,000 students, 1300 researchers, and 300 full professors covering a breadth of disciplines in medicine, engineering and technology, social sciences, education and liberal arts. The school of engineering and technology includes industrial economics, information technology, medical technology, material sciences, applied physics, production technology, and electronics.
